In the polder landscape of Schobbejak you can see meadow birds such as Aguja Colinegra, Archibebe Común and Ostrero Euroasiático, while the Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental is also found there. Cetia Ruiseñor breeds in the reedlands and in winter it is a foraging area for waterfowl.

Nederlands: Natuurgebied Schobbejak is het resultaat van een project waarbij landbouw en natuur elkaar de hand hebben gereikt en is ca. 20 hectare groot. In het polderlandschap ziet men onder meer weidevogels als grutto, tureluur en scholekster, terwijl ook de bruine kiekendief er voorkomt. In de rietlanden broedt Cetti's zanger en in de winter is het een foerageergebied voor watervogels.
