Sablière de Chatillon is a large sand pit with a wetland in the middle of it. The area is surrounded by forest and there is also an area of bushes and shrubs. Among the birds you can encounter are Torcecuello Euroasiático, Abejero Europeo, Avión Zapador, Zarcero Políglota, Alondra Totovía, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Lavandera Blanca, Colirrojo Real, Curruca Zarcera, Mosquitero Musical, Alcotán Europeo and Abejaruco Europeo.

Sablière de Chatillon is located 12 km southwest of the town of Arlon and just north of the village of Chatillon. You can park in front of the barrier which closes access to the sandpit. Press P on the map for directions. From the parking spot you can explore the area on foot. The circular route shown on the map is about 2 km.
