Descripción
The 12 hectares of the area consist of four former fish ponds in the Molenbeek valley. The ponds have been managed in a nature-friendly way for ten years. They are a good place to make the first spring observations of Zampullín Común , Somormujo Lavanco , Martín Pescador Común , Carricero Común , Cormorán Grande . During the winter half-year, in addition to modest numbers of Porrón Moñudo, Porrón Europeo, Cerceta Común are present. Other species are seen to a lesser extent Ánade friso, Cuchara Común, Cerceta Carretona , Avetorillo común.
In recent years many rareties were seen during migration, like Zampullín Cuellinegro, Avetoro Común, Pájaro-moscón Europeo ,Garcilla Cangrejera.
