During summer the Somormujo Lavanco is breeding openly, or the Garza Real can be seen hunting. There is also a Martín Pescador Común that shows itself every now and then. In the reed the Carricero Tordal is singing happily. During winter all different kind of guests come by e.g. Porrón Europeo, Porrón Moñudo, Ánade friso. The water is not always visible during the walk around the lake, but then forestbirds like different species of tits can be seen.
