The Rhine Delta Observation Deck (Rheindelta Fußacher Bucht Beobachtungsplattform) is a great birding hotspot because in every season of the year you can observe different birds. The whole year you can see for example Zarapito Real, Garceta Grande, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental or Bigotudo. In the winter half-year there are a lot of water birds like Cisne Cantor, Cerceta Común or Porrón Europeo. In the summer half-year there are Avetorillo común, Garza Imperial, Milano Negro or Charrán Común. But the best time of the year is the period of migration with many shorebirds, flycatchers and many other migratory birds that make a stop in the area.

You can't go to the observation platform by car, but with the bike or on foot you can get there. The nearest bus stop is "Fußach Altes Postamt" Indicated with a star symbol on the map.
