Descripción
While the northern part of the Lauteracher Ried, with its large tree population of birches and oaks, conveys an almost park-like character, the Ried opens up to the south to an extensive, woody moor landscape. Lauteracher Ried is one of the last places in Vorarlberg, where some meadowbirds like Avefría Europea, Zarapito Real and Agachadiza común are still breeding. Because of this, it's important to not enter the meadows and moorlands and stick to the roads. Other birds to observe are for example Tarabilla Norteña and Guión de Codornices. Sometimes there are also rarities spotted like Elanio Común.
