The Königsdorfer Schotterteiche consist of a big pond and some smaller ponds. The large pond is widely used for water recreation and swimming, so in summer the big pond is less interesting. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Cisne Vulgar, Porrón Pardo, Abejaruco Europeo, Charrán Común, Curruca Zarcera, Avetoro Común, Avetorillo común, Garceta Grande, Garza Real, Ganso del Nilo and Tarabilla común.
