The Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens is a 42-hectare forest site five kilometres south of Batemans Bay. The Garden grows and displays plants that occur naturally in the region. The site abounds with a wide variety of flora and fauna including many of the 2000 species of plants, trees and shrubs of the region. There are kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, possums, echidnas, snakes, lizards, frogs and many birds. For those who like an easy birding destination Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens is an accessible location with good paths through a variety of habitats.

Species likely to be seen include: Pacific Black Duck, Australasian Grebe, Pacific Koel, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Australasian Swamphen, Sacred Kingfisher, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Galah, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Australian King-Parrot, Crimson Rosella, Rainbow Lorikeet, Satin Bowerbird, White-throated Treecreeper, Superb Fairywren, Variegated Fairywren, Eastern Spinebill, Lewin's Honeyeater, Yellow-faced Honeyeater, Noisy Miner, Little Wattlebird, Red Wattlebird, New Holland Honeyeater, White-naped Honeyeater, Brown-headed Honeyeater, Noisy Friarbird, Spotted Pardalote, Striated Pardalote, White-browed Scrubwren, Striated Thornbill, Brown Thornbill, Black-faced Cuckooshrike, Eastern Whipbird, Grey Shrikethrush, Golden Whistler, Rufous Whistler, Olive-backed Oriole, Australasian Figbird, Dusky Woodswallow, Grey Butcherbird, Leaden Flycatcher, Australian Raven, Eastern Yellow Robin, Australian Reed Warbler, Fairy Martin, Tree Martin, Bassian Thrush, Mistletoebird and Red-browed Finch.

The Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens are located approximately 5 km south of Batemans Bay and are open Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm. Parking and entry are free. Access is via the visitor centre which also has a good cafe for those in need of refreshment. Toilets are located near the visitor centre. The gardens have a network of good paths which are ideal for birders with restricted mobility.
