Descripción
Jermuk Waterfall, also known as Mermaid’s Hair, cascades from a height of over 70 meters, surrounded by rugged cliffs, lush forests, and a fast-flowing river. The mix of rocky outcrops, wooded slopes, and riverbanks creates a rich habitat for various bird species.
The cliffs provide perfect sites for Buitre Leonado , often seen soaring overhead, and also for Roquero Solitario and Serín Frentirrojo. The river attracts Mirlo-acuático Europeo and Lavandera Cascadeña, which forage along the water’s edge. Open skies above the waterfall are also great for spotting passing raptors.
What makes this site special is its dramatic scenery, fresh mountain air, and excellent birdwatching opportunities.
