Description

Park Springs is a site comprised of a wetland, grassland and woodlands located in Grimethorpe. The site has easy access and plenty of birds to see including waders, wildfowl and summer and winter migrants. Among the birds that can be seen are (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αβοκέτα, (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα, Μουστακαλής, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κούκος, Βαρβάρα, Ποταμογλάρονο, (Κοκκινόλαιμο) Νανοβουτηχτάρι, (Κοινό) Μπεκατσίνι and Καλαμόκιρκος.

Large lay-by near by for easy parking and a short walk to viewing area. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km long.
