Former landfill, now turned into a park with scrubs near the water, tidal mudflats, hills around, and one hide.
Dundee Riverside Nature Park is located on the Tay Estuary. There are views over the estuary from many paths. The paths to the south of the Nature Park are good for watching wading birds feeding on the mud flats at low tide or roosting in Invergowrie Bay at high tide. The bird hide overlooks Invergowrie Bay. Riverside Nature Park is ideal for observing waders in passage in September and April, wintering waders, buntings, larks breeding, warblers in season. Can host eagles and Ψαραετός, as well as Πετρίτης.
Riverside Nature Park is located 4 km west of Dundee city center and can be reached on foot, bike or by bus. You can park at any extremity. Click on the P in the map for directions to the car park. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 km.
