Giessensee is a lake in the village of Bad Ragaz that is good for some easy urban birding and where it's nice to photograph birds like Mandarin Duck or Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια. Other birds to observe are for example (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη, Αρκοπετείναρο and Σταχτοτσικνιάς.
