Acherbiela is a small nature reserve. The Τσαλαπετεινός is being reintroduced in the area. Spring migration often offers surprises ( Ωχροκελάδα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Μαυροκιρκίνεζο, (Κοινή) Σιταρήθρα and Δεντροσταρήθρα). In winter sometimes Κοκκινοκαλιακούδα and Χιονοκότσυφας. Χρυσαετός and Γυπαετός are also possible when the weather is bad. Beautiful circular route over dry steppe with nature-friendly agriculture. Among the birds you can see in the area are Τσαλαπετεινός, (Κοινός) Φοινίκουρος, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γκιώνης, Κιτρινοκαλιακούδα, Κοκκινοκαλιακούδα, Χρυσαετός, Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης, Βουνοφυλλοσκόπος, Γερακότσιχλα and Αιγίθαλος.

Public transport: Bus from Brig train station to Brig Biela. Then walk about 30 minutes in the direction of Termen. Circular walking route from the bus between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the route.
