A small lake, with small reedbeds, with walking paths around it. A big colony of Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος nests on an island in the eastern part. Γκισάρι, Καπακλής, Αρκοπετείναρο, Σταχτοτσικνιάς, Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι and Μελανόγλαρος gives the lake its character.

Easy access by public transport (commuter trains stop at Solna station) as well as by car. Parking is most convenient on the east side of the lake. Walking around the lake is about 2,5 kilometers.
