Nature reserve worth visiting for birding all year round. Beach, meadows, forest thickets and nice fauna and flora. Also a good place for watching sea birds.

Description

Örby Ängar has varied biotopes with many bird species. Seashore, wetland, coastal heath, deciduous forest groves. Chance of resting rarities spring and autumn. For example Τσαλαπετεινός, Γαλούδι της Μογγολίας and Ρωσσογιαννούδι have been observed here. Sometimes Γαλαζολαίμης rest in the reeds. The embankment is a good place for watching sea birds.

Access

Örby Ängar is located south of Helsingborg. Bus no. 1 to Råå terminus, walk south past Råå harbor leads to the nature reserve. The area has good cycle paths. There is a large parking lot in the southern part of the reserve. This parking has toilets and an information panel on the area. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2,5 km.
