Description
In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Λιβαδόκιρκος, Χειμωνόκιρκος, Ψαλιδιάρης and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός. Even very rare species like Στεπόκιρκος and Τσίφτης have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βροχοπούλι and rarities like Διπλοκελάδα and Βουνοσφυριχτής have been seen. Χιονοτσίχλονο and Twite spend there winters here.

Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
