Description
Fiskeboda is a site with many different habitats. In the oak forest you can find Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης and Μαύρος Δρυοκολάπτης. From November to March on the water you can find ducks such as Νανοπρίστης, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Βουκεφάλα, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια and in summer Ψαραετός. In the cultural landscape and beach meadows you can observe pipits, larks and Χρυσοτσίχλονο. Birds of prey you can spot in the area are Διπλοσάϊνο, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Σφηκιάρης, Καλαμόκιρκος and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός (probably nests in the area). Terns, gulls and cormorants nest NW of Fiskeboda Camping.

Access
Fiskeboda is located on a peninsula in Lake Hjälmaren. Click on a P in the map for directions. The best thing to explore the area is to walk through the sheep pasture in Fiskeboda village. Cycling is fine, but driving is not allowed.
