Ekensbergs Brygga is a nice point to look over Lake Mälaren. (Ευρασιατικός) Ήταυρος is often heard but difficult to see. Easier to observe are Καλαμόκιρκος, Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Βουκεφάλα and (Βουβός) Κύκνος.

Access
Ekensbergs Brygga is located 50 km west of Stockholm. Park at Överenhörna church and walk a little over a km. Or drive to the boat club (private road). For a circular walk you can walk up the rock of Lurberget for a nice view of Lake Mälaren. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking.
