Open grazed meadows and wetlands that attract birds. Located just east of Trelleborg, next to the popular bathing spot Dalabadet.
The Dalköpinge meadows are a protected area mainly because of its flora, but also constitutes an important nesting and resting place for several bird species. The small reserve of 23 hectares is one of the few undeveloped and free green spaces adjacent to the coast east of Trelleborg. About 160 bird species have been recorded here and many waders visit the reserve during migration. Birds like (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, Κοκκινοσκέλης and (Κοινό) Μπεκατσίνι can be seen regularly in the area.
You can walk, cycle or use public transport from Trellborg to get here. There are also parking places. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
