Beautiful walk from Torrejón el Rubio to the old bridge on the river Arroyo de la Vid. During this hike you can easily see birds such as Iberian Magpie, Κοκκινοκεφαλάς, Thekla's Lark, Σκορταλλός, Μαυρολαίμης, Κοκκινοπέρδικα and Λευκοχελίδονο. Birds you can hear include (Κοινό) Αηδόνι, Τσιφτάς, (Κοινή) Καρδερίνα and (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κιστικόλη. High above in the sky you can see Όρνιο, Ψαλιδιάρης and other birds of prey. Under die old birdge you can find a breeding colony of (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βραχοχελίδονο. In the river you can see Σταχτοτσικνιάς hunting. On the church in the village breeds Λευκός Πελαργός. With a little luck you can encounter a group of (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος.

Español: Precioso paseo desde Torrejón el Rubio hasta el viejo puente sobre el Arroyo de la Vid. Access
The starting point is the Monfragüe Visitor Center with the Monfragüe Bird Center in the village of Torrejón el Rubio. The trail (3 km one way, 6 km there and back) is partially marked and takes about two hours there and back. It has a steep descent to the river. Parking is available at the Monfragüe Visitor Center or on the road to the Monfragüe national park. Press P on the map for directions.
