Description
From the picturesque Puerto de Carril, you can see the nearby Isla de Cortegada. Birds like Χειμωνογλάρονο and seagulls often rest on the wooden stakes from the dock. It is not uncommon to see Γιγαντόγλαρος and Μελανόγλαρος. The most frequent are Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου and Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος. You can also see Τριδάκτυλος Γλάρος and Μαυροκέφαλος Γλάρος. Also Σούλα (του Βορά). The frequency of (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσοκόρακας and Alcidae like Common Guillemot, Razorbill or shearwaters makes the place a special place. The terrestrial birdlife is much less interesting, although it does add species to the watch list.

The best time is sunrise. I have always gone in summer, and even so, warm clothes are recommended for that time. A jacket is enough.
