Description
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Αμμοσφυριχτής and Ποταμοσφυριχτής, 3 species of Κιτρινοσουσουράδα, countless Δενδροχελίδονο, as well as (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βραχοχελίδονο, Λευκοχελίδονο, Οχθοχελίδονο and σταβλοχελίδονο. Τσαλαπετεινός can be seen in large numbers. Έλανος hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Αετομάχος, Καρβουνιάρης, (Κοινός) Φοινίκουρος, Μαυρομυγοχάφτης, Σταχτομυγοχάφτης, Iberian Grey Shrike, Χωραφοσπουργίτης, 4 species of tits, Πευκοδρυοκολάπτης, Νανοδρυοκολάπτης and Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης. The Spanish Imperial Eagle and Όρνιο breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Φιδαετός, Γερακαετός and Ψαραετός are also frequently seen, as are Τσίφτης and Ψαλιδιάρης.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.

Puebla Campsite is located 4 kilometers outside the village of Puebla de los Infantes, 70 km west of Cordoba and 80 km northeast of Seville. The campsite is signposted in the village of Puebla de los Infantes. Press the P on the map for directions to the campsite.
