Description

The very special rock formations of the Riglos house nesting Ασπροπάρης and Όρνιο. You can walk a scenic trail all around the Riglos that is about 5 km long (see the map). Birds you can also see in the area are Μαυροπετρόκλης, Γαλαζοκότσυφας, Βουνοσταχτάρα, Γυπαετός, Φιδαετός and Ψαλιδιάρης.

Access

Mallos de Riglos is located in the foothills of the Pre-Pyrenees about 45 km northwest of the city of Huesca. From Huesca, it's about a 45-minute drive west via the A-132 road. The rock formations rise above the village of Riglos. There is a car park near the observatory. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
