Description
This small wetland located a little to the northeast of the village of Madrigalejo is nice to check out. There was a nice observation tower here, unfortunately, the lookout tower has burned down. Among the birds you can see in this place are Λευκός Πελαργός, Αργυροτσικνιάς, Πορφυροτσικνιάς (April and May), Καλαμοποταμίδα, Μαυρολαίμης, Common Waxbill, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κιστικόλη, Καλαμόκιρκος, Έλανος, Ψαλιδιάρης, Iberian Grey Shrike, Iberian Magpie and Κισσόκουκος (January to April). In the winter months the Ψαθοποταμίδα is a regular visitor.
