Winter is the most interesting time. Σταχτόχηνα, Δαχτυλιδόχηνα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βροχοπούλι and (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα appear. There are also raptors. Large number of (Κοινή) Φαλαρίδα and Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι. On other times of the year it is also possible to enjoy the place although the most unique species are no longer there. But this is compensated by the number of birds and other rare species, such as (Κοινός) Νυχτοκόρακας and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μικροτσικνιάς.
