Carabias is a small village surrounded by fields. The trees around the village contain (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος who feast on the numerous fruit trees in the village and nest in the trees. Many other birds can be spotted around the village, like flocks of Όρνιο, but also (Ευρωπαϊκό) Τρυγόνι, Κοκκινοπέρδικα, Γερακαετός, (Κοινή) Σταχτάρα, Τσαλαπετεινός and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος.
