Description
Bajo Negro is located near several biotopes. The first one is the sea. At sea here you will find Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου and rarely Μελανόγλαρος. If you are lucky, also Σούλα (του Βορά) or Αρτέμης. Another setting is the beach. You can easily see Λευκοσκαλίδρα. If you continue further, you will reach the dunes. In the desert area inland the Barbary Partridge is found, Μικρογαλιάντρα της Ερήμου and Berthelot's Pipit.

The location is walkable. The advantage is that it is located right next to a hotel, where you can park, and where there are sometimes Fuerteventura Stonechat. Click on the P in the map for directions.

During a visit or two in November 2021 I saw (Ευρωπαϊκή) Πετροτουρλίδα, Iberian Grey Shrike, Καστανοτσιροβάκος in the desert area and on the beach (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα, Θαλασσολιμόζα, Θαλασσοσφυριχτής, Αργυροπούλι as well as other mentioned species. The north end of Corralejo is worth exploring too. Ερημοπύρρουλας quite common here.
Hello Dave, congratulations on a beautiful observation. I have seen some of the species you mentioned, such as Θαλασσολιμόζα or (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα in Corralejo. But I didn't come across (Ευρωπαϊκή) Πετροτουρλίδα here at all. However, I was only here for 10 days in February 2022 and I know I didn't see a lot of species (like the Χλαμυδωτίδα that was reported here). Someone even saw a Σούλα (του Βορά) here.
