Description

The Strand - Marine Protected Area is a beach that is easily reachable (and a good place to go after Paardevlei). After crossing the low-water of the river outlet, walk down the beach to the fence, where you can find Cape Cormorant and Crowned Cormorant. Along the way you can find African Oystercatcher and other shorebirds. In the bushes and vegatation there are some land birds which can add nicely to the list.
