Description
The dike at Therme Catez campsite is high, so you have a good view of the vegetation. The distance of the walk may be only 500 meters, but I can enjoy myself there easily with two hours of birding. Birds you can encounter in the area are (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Τρυγόνι, Αετομάχος, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κουκουβάγια, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γκιώνης, Σταχτομυγοχάφτης, Μεσαίος Δρυοκολάπτης, Πευκοδρυοκολάπτης, Σκαρθάκι, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κοκκοθραύστης, (Κοινή) Καρδερίνα, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Φλώρος and many more.

Access
You can park at the Therme Catez campsite. There is also a parking space close to the ferry. Click on a P in the map for directions. Before you walk to the ferry you will see a 2 km run sign. Follow this dike as far as you want or go down the dike and walk on paths between the bushes towards the Sava River. From the other side of the ferry you can also get there, take the ferry in Mostec and you enter the area.
