Description
Old gravel pits and brick factory in Bogdanovica village are turned into several ponds on the left bank of Ub river. The small artificial water reservoirs now attract numerous waterbirds, like Σταχτοτσικνιάς, Αργυροτσικνιάς, Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, (Κοινή) Φαλαρίδα, Αρκοπετείναρο, Λαγγόνα, and others. Surrounding the gravel pits is agricultural land with (Κοινός) Κόρακας and (Κοινή) Γερακίνα. The gravel pits are some winters visited by rare birds like Κοκκινοβουτηχτάρι and Γελαδάρης.

Access
Access is from Bogdanovica village some 2 km north of Ub town following the regional road Ub - Obranovac. The asphalt road leads to the Ub fire station. Near the fire station is its parking place, but do not park there but on its side, as fire station's parking place is reserved for firemen and fire engines. Click P on the map for directions.
