Description
Most of this area near the Buzau river is open rocky terrain with scattered bushes and poplar where a multitude of birds make their home. This includes, among others (Ευρωπαϊκή) Χαλκοκουρούνα, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μελισσοφάγος, Τσαλαπετεινός, Αμμοπετρόκλης, Δεντρογέρακο, Αετογερακίνα, Σταχτοπετρόκλης, Βαλκανικός Δρυοκολάπτης, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Τρυγόνι, Σταχτοκεφαλάς and Αετομάχος. Λιβαδόκιρκος, Γερακαετός and Λευκός Πελαργός also often pass by.
In the northern end by the Buzau river other birds such as (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Πετροτουρλίδα, Ποταμοσφυριχτής, Πρασινοσκέλης, Λασπότρυγγας and Μουστακογλάρονο can be seen.

Access
The site is located north of the village of Bentu. A large gravel road runs through the area from Bentu to the Buzau River. It is recommended to drive to the northern end of the area where most of the birds are located. Press P on the map for directions. From here the area can be explored on foot or by bike.
