Description
Zbiornik Jeziorsko (Jeziorsko Reservoir) is an artificial reservoir on the Warta River. Its southern part is occupied by a vast ornithological reserve. In summer, the water level in the reservoir goes down, resulting in shallow areas and sandbanks, which provide a resting place, feeding ground and a sleeping place for a huge number of local and migrating birds.
Observations in this place are made from the flood embankment. The ground below is muddy. A telescope is necessary when observing because the birds are timid and are located at considerable distances. In the afternoon, the sun is behind the observer.
On the opposite bank there is an access to the reservoir allowing you to look at the same place from the other side. Due to the considerable distance and access to the beach - it is worth visiting.

Polski: Zbiornik Jeziorsko jest sztucznym zbiornikiem na rzece Warcie. Jego południową częśc zajmuje rozległy rezerwat ornitologiczny. Od lata poziom wody w zbiorniku spada, dzieki czemu powstają płycizny i łachy piasku, które stanowią miejsce odpoczynku, żerowisko oraz noclegowisko dla ogromnej liczby ptakow lokalnych i migrujących.
Obserwacje w tym miejscu dokonywane są z wału przeciwpowodziowego. Teren poniżej jest grząski. W czasie obserwacji konieczna jest luneta, gdyż ptaki są płochliwe i znajdują się w znacznych odległościach. W godzinach popołudniowych słońce znajduje się za plecami obserwatora.
Na przeciwległym brzegu znajduje się dojście do zbiornika pozwalające na spojrzenie na to samo miejsce z drugiej strony. Z powodu znacznej odległości oraz dostępu do plaży - jest warte odwiedzenia.

Free and informal parking is available just off the local road (click on the P in the map for directions). It is best to travel along the embankment, along the path marked on the map, on foot.
NOTE - when driving from the dam /Turek towards Warta, please note that to exit to the parking, you cannot turn at the parking lot, you have to drive a little further to the nearest intersection.Watch the sights.
