Description

Zajki Meadows is a very good spot for observing marsh species. All 3 marsh tern species ( Μαυρογλάρονο, Αργυρογλάρονο and Μουστακογλάρονο) are present. Some warblers in nearby bushes. There is also a couple of pairs of (Ευρωπαϊκή) Λιμόζα around as well as plenty of Μαχητής and Λασπότρυγγας on the meadows in the spring. Various trushes and nightingales can be heard later in the day.
