A small city park with 2 fish ponds in the village of Tychy brings a surprising lot of birds.

Description

The Suble city park of Tychy is a good place for a short morning or evening of birding. Breeding birds here are Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, Γκισάρι, (Βουβός) Κύκνος, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μικροτσικνιάς, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Νεροκοτσέλα, Αρκοπετείναρο and Τσιχλοποταμίδα. During migration it's a good place for gulls, ducks and birds of prey. Some rare inland species were seen here: Φιδαετός, (Ευρωπαϊκη) Βαλτόπαπια, (Ευρασιατικό) Φερεντίνι, Βαρβάρα, Φοινικόσιηνα and Μαυροκέφαλος Γλάρος.
