Stawy w Pęczniewie consists of several ponds covered with reeds to varying degrees. An important nesting and feeding place for birds related to the aquatic environment. Among the birds you can encounter are (Κοκκινόλαιμο) Νανοβουτηχτάρι, Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι, Κοκκινοβουτηχτάρι, (Βουβός) Κύκνος, Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια, Βαρβάρα, Ποταμογλάρονο, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γερανός.
