Description
Especially in spring, the described area is flooded with water which, due to its excess, is unable to flow into the Rów Polski (Polish Trench). Due to frequent flooding, this area of over 40 hectares has not been used for years and is not subject to direct human pressure. It is a resting place for up to 150 (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γερανός as well as ducks such as the Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Σαρσέλα and (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρόπαπια.

The most convenient way is to drive your car near the sewage treatment plant in Rokosowo and leave it there. Practically, it is best to explore this place on foot, although observations from a car or bicycle are possible. The best view of the floodplain will be provided by stopping near the sewage treatment plant.
