Description

Rezerwat Kwiecewo covers an area of ​​110 hectares and Its purpose is to preserve the floodplain for numerous species of wetland birds. It is an important resting and feeding place for birds, as well as an important nesting site for birds associated with aquatic habitats. The shallow pool is surrounded by periodically flooded wet meadows. Also reed belts and arable fields. There is a small forest complex with high ornithological value. The site is very important for breeding birds, including 130 pairs of Μαυρογλάρονο. Other birds you can observe in the area are (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γερανός, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός, Κραυγαετός, Αργυρογλάρονο and Μαύρος Πελαργός. Also several species of grebes, ducks and geese.

Access

The best way to get to the reserve is by car from Dobre Miasto. Leave the car on the road and only continue on foot. It is worth taking wellingtons or other waterproof boots with you.
