Description
The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of Σταχτόχηνα), (Κοινή) Φαλαρίδα and various species of ducks (including (Ευρωπαϊκή) Μαυρόπαπια and Βελουδόπαπια), as well as Κηλιδοβούτι and Λαμπροβούτι, Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι, Μαυροβουτηχτάρι, Χειμωνοβουτηχτάρι and Νανοπρίστης winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός, sometimes Πετρίτης.

Access
Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
