In winter, look for Χηνοπρίστης and Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος, while summer brings Ποταμογλάρονο fishing in the water. The surrounding trees and parks attract Γαλαζοπαπαδίτσα, (Κοινός) Σπίνος and Πετρίτης, which can sometimes be seen hunting in the city skyline.

Public Transport: The canals are well-served by public transport. Rotterdam Centraal Station is just a 15-minute walk away, with trams and buses connecting the area. The best way to explore the area is on foot or by bike.
