Description

The Sophiapolder is a nature reserve since 1997. It has a permanent island and several islands that only appear when the water level is falling. The open water, the banks and the grassland attract many birds. (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα are often seen, just like Πετρίτης who likes to catch a bird here.
