Aarida is a coastal strip along the Mediterranean in the north of Lebanon. This is an important area during autumn migration. Many birds may change direction there and may leave or receive new species. Among the birds you can encounter are Λευκός Πελαργός, Καλαμοκανάς, Λευκοσκαλίδρα, Αργυροπούλι, Αμμοσφυριχτής, Θαλασσοσφυριχτής, Ποταμοσφυριχτής, Λασποσκαλίδρα, Πρασινοσκέλης, Λεπτόραμφος Γλάρος, Σταχτοσουσουράδα, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη, but also birds like Μαυροπεριστερόκοτα.
