If you visit the historic center of Livorno, as a birder it's a good idea to visit the beautiful Villa Fabbricotti as well. A real green lung of the city of Livorno. You can make nice observations during any period of the year in this park. Surely the best time of the year is spring. Within this hotspot nest: Italian Sparrow, (Κοινός) Σπίνος, (Κοινός) Φοινίκουρος, Καλόγερος, Γαλαζοπαπαδίτσα, Καμποδεντροβάτης, Σταχτομυγοχάφτης, Μαυροσκούφης, Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης, Στραβολαίμης, (Κοινός) Κότσυφας, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος, Τσαλαπετεινός, (Ευρασιατική) Δεκαοχτούρα, (Κοινή) Φάσσα and Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου. Some nocturnal birds of prey are also present as nesting. At night it is possible to hear (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κουκουβάγια and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γκιώνης. Among the migratory species, Μαυρομυγοχάφτης is a frequent presence between April and May. During the winter period: Καρβουνιάρης, Ελατοπαπαδίτσα, Δεντροτσοπανάκος, Κοκκινολαίμης can be observed with a good eye and a good ear.

Italiano: Uno dei più grandi parchi urbani di Livorno, piccolo boschetto alternato a Pinete. Se si visita il centro storico di Livorno, oltre che a visitare la bellissima villa, vero e proprio polmone verde della città di Livorno, si possono fare anche osservazioni carine durante ogni periodo dell'anno. Sicuramente il periodo migliore dell'anno è la primavera. All'interno di questo hotspot nidificano: Italian Sparrow, (Κοινός) Σπίνος, (Κοινός) Φοινίκουρος, Καλόγερος, Γαλαζοπαπαδίτσα, Καμποδεντροβάτης, Σταχτομυγοχάφτης, Μαυροσκούφης, Πράσινος Δρυοκολάπτης, Στραβολαίμης(Pigliamosche Tirrenico, riconosciuto da alcuni come specie, endemismo), (Κοινός) Κότσυφας, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Συκοφάγος, Τσαλαπετεινός, (Ευρασιατική) Δεκαοχτούρα, (Κοινή) Φάσσα e Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου. Anche alcuni rapaci notturni sono presenti come nidificanti. La notte è possibile sentire (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κουκουβάγια ed (Ευρωπαϊκός) Γκιώνης. Fra le specie migratrici la Μαυρομυγοχάφτης è una presenza frequente fra Aprile e Maggio. Durante il periodo invernale: Καρβουνιάρης, Ελατοπαπαδίτσα, Δεντροτσοπανάκος, Κοκκινολαίμης possono essere osservati con un buon occhio ed un buon orecchio.

Access
You park your car in the city and you can enter either from Via Marradi or from Via Roma. Also easily accessible by public transport. There are bus stops right in front of the park.
