A walk along the Torrente Sturla is interesting for the heronry with Σταχτοτσικνιάς. And going up the river you can observe birds like Αρκοπετείναρο, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Νεροκοτσέλα, Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου and Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος. Also easy to see all year round are Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος and (Ευρωπαϊκή) Αλκυόνη and passerines ((Κοινή) Καρδερίνα, (Κοινός) Σπίνος, Δεντροφυλλοσκόπος). You walk along the river, starting either from the mouth or from the Roman bridge located further inland.
