Description
The beach of Spiaggia di Spina and the adjacent river mouth of Foce Logonovo attract waders and gulls outside the summer season. From autumn to spring (October-April) a walk along this beach can offer a close-up view of Λευκοσκαλίδρα, Λασποσκαλίδρα, but also Θαλασσοσφυριχτής and Αργυροπούλι, and sometimes even Χαλικοκυλιστής. Among the gulls, Καστανοκέφαλος Γλάρος and Ασημόγλαρος της Μεσογείου are always present and you can also observe Χειμωνογλάρονο and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος. In the dune area, (Κοινή) Καρδερίνα is frequent and also Κοκκινολαίμης.

Access
Spiaggia di Spina and Foce Logonovo are located on the Adriatic coast directly south of the town of Porto Garibali. There are ample free parking spaces near the beach resorts where you can leave your car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. Access to the beach is only possible on foot.
