Description
A small lake where in winter you can see over 4,000 diving ducks, especially Μαυροκέφαλη Πάπια and Γκισάρι, but also (Ευρωπαϊκη) Βαλτόπαπια, Σταχτόπαπια, (Ευρασιατικό) Φερεντίνι, (Ευρασιατικός) Ήταυρος, Ασημόγλαρος της Κασπίας. A few dabbling ducks are present too. A large roost of (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος is present and recently Λαγγόνα is often here.
In spring Πορφυροτσικνιάς, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Μικροτσικνιάς and (Ευρωπαϊκός) Κορμοράνος usually breed here. Πράσινος Παπαγάλος is common too.
Rarities: Ring-necked Duck, Ruddy Duck, Νανοπρίστης, Χιονόπαπια, Tundra Bean Goose and Ασπρομέτωπη Χήνα.

It is not that easy to access the lake shore, but you can get there from the west side where there is an observation hide.
