Description

Bosco Limite Carmignano is an experimental zone of 23,500 square meters that is actually the largest Forested Infiltration Area (FIA) in Veneto, created to regenerate aquifers and preserve biodiversity. The wood grows in an area once used for the intensive cultivation of maize. The area is very easy to access and a small path gives good chances for observing birds. Among the birds you can encounter are (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κίσσα, Λευκός Πελαργός, Σταχτοτσικνιάς, Αργυροτσικνιάς, Γελαδάρης, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Κουκουβάγια and Βραχοκιρκίνεζο.

Access

From Carmignano di Brenta, proceed north until you pass the hamlet of Camazzole and along Via San Valentino you will find a sign on the right indicating the entrance to the Bosco Limite.
