Hamaapil Fish Ponds is a complex of small and larger fish ponds separated by dams. The ponds attract a huge amount of different bird species. Birds that you can encounter are Ψαραετός, Σμυρναλκυόνη, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Σαρσέλα, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Τρυγόνι, Φοινικοτρύγονο, Κισσόκουκος, Καλαμοκανάς, Αγκαθοκαλημάνα, Αμμοσφυριχτής, Μαχητής, (Κοινή) Νανοσκαλίδρα, Βαλτότρυγγας, Μαυρότρυγγας, Λασπότρυγγας, (Κοινό) Νεροχελίδονο and Μουστακογλάρονο.
