Kilberry Bog is a fantastic winter birding area as it has Νανόμπουφος, Ανθρωποπούλλι and sometimes Βαλτόμπουφος. It has (Κοινή) Γερακίνα, Νανογέρακο, (Κοινό) Ξεφτέρι, Βραχοκιρκίνεζο, Πετρίτης and Χειμωνόκιρκος. There are Πρασινοκέφαλη Πάπια, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Κιρκίρι, (Κοινό) Μπεκατσίνι, Κουφομπεκάτσινο, (Ευρωπαϊκό) Βροχοπούλι, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, Αμμοσφυριχτής and occasionally Δασότρυγγας. It also has (Βουβός) Κύκνος and Αγριόκυκνος.

You can access Kilberry Bog by car as far as the edge then walk around. There are several laneways which lead to it and cars can be parked at the roadside so long as you don't block access or gateways. Click on the P in the map for directions.
