Baranny is an grassland area along the banks of the river Cregg that attracts many birds. Among the birds you can see are Σταχτόχηνα, (Ευρωπαϊκή) Καλημάνα, (Ευρασιατική) Τουρλίδα, Σιγλίγουρος, Καλαμόκιρκος, Χειμωνόκιρκος, Νανογέρακο, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, Μαυρολαίμης and sometimes (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός.
