Description
Nagy-tó means Big Lake. In this large wetland next to the village of Tiszaalpár there is a big heron nesting colony in the willows-jungle around the Big Lake. Plenty of (Κοινός) Νυχτοκόρακας, Γελαδάρης, (Κοινός) Λευκοτσικνιάς, Αργυροτσικνιάς, Σταχτοτσικνιάς, Πορφυροτσικνιάς, (Ευρασιατική) Χουλιαρομύτα and (Ξανθός) Κρυπτοτσικνιάς nest in the area. But there are many other interesting birds to see like Μαυροκέφαλος Γλάρος, Κοκκινοβουτηχτάρι, Νανοπρίστης, (Ευρωπαϊκός) Θαλασσαετός and Κοκκινοκελάδα.
